I bought this hanging wine rack, and although I wasn't able to install it as intended (my ceiling joists were not centered over where I wanted it to hang), I love it! My solution was to mount two sturdy tension rods between cabinet sets (over the kitchen sink) and loop the chains on the tension rods. It worked perfectly and actually I feel its more sturdy than hanging from hooks on the ceiling now.
It is extremely heavy duty and not flimsy at all!

Okay, if you like a BIG glass, Vinum line is better
Perhaps my memory doesn't serve me well, because I was the designated driver the last time we toured wine country, but I don't recall them using glasses this BIG for reds. This glass was not suitable as a replacement for my crystal to serve with the china. I was not crazy about the size, weight, clarity and cloverleaf stem. Instead I bought a full set of the Riedel Vinum Zinfandel/Chianti & Riesling glasses at $16 a piece on sale with free shipping (vs these at $10 ea). It's worth the higher quality (24% lead crystal) and more versatile size and shape.
The most perfectly shaped wine glass
I bought four of these at the local supermarket for $13 each, after searching for the perfect wine glass for weeks. These are exactly the right shape for a delicious red wine - big bulb, but not like a goldfish bowl; nicely tapered, and interesting Deco-ish shape for the stem. Dinner guests always comment on their beauty and how they make the wine seem expensive even if it's not. You just want to pour a glass, swirl it around, stick your nose deep in there, then take your first sip. You just feel elegant drinking with it. Anyway, Amazon's price of $10 per glass is a steal (with free shipping), so I got four more.

Great wines glasses...not so fragile
I have >100 Riedels and I use them as my everyday wine glasses. I love the difference it makes on the tasting of the wines. I have now done several demonstrations for my friends and they all agree that it really enhances the experience of tasting the wines.
As to their fragility...I have only broken 2 - a chardonnay and a burgundy one. I think those are more fragile.
I do handwash them, use very little soap and really only rub the rims...and most of the time I wash them right after the party. I find my experience very different than some of the comments

Beautiful but ridiculously fragile - buy Spiegelau!
I have owned Riedel Vinum Bordeaux glasses for a decade and love them for their size, shape, clarity, and elegance. However, I have stopped purchasing them. Why? All one needs to do is look at them firmly and they break. My wife and I finally made a rule never to wash them after drinking any amount of wine. Then we escalated to not washing them if we were tired or distracted. Breaking during careful washing and drying was bad enough - most recently, I broke one during gentle swirling! Ridiculous.
Finally, we solved this ongoing problem by purchasing Spiegelau Vino Grande Red Wine Glasses recommended by a friend. At initial evaluation they look virtually identical to the Riedels, but on closer inspection are slightly thicker although an almost perfect match in shape. The feel is similarly elegant. The Reidels have been moved to the back of the cupboard. After breaking 3 or 4 Reidels per year, we have not broken a single similar Spiegelau in 2 years.
